How this wine tastes
This is a wine made from the best grapes of the varieties Touriga Nacional (60%), Touriga Franca (25%) and Tinta Roriz (15%), under the direction of winemakers Daniel Llose, Château Lynch-Bages, and Manuel Lobo, Quinta do Crasto. It was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels in the barrel cellar of Quinta do Crasto, in the Douro.
01/Nose
On the nose it is complex, showing fresh notes of forest fruits and elegant notes of fresh spices.
02/Palate
On the palate, its elegant attack leads to a voluminous wine with excellent structure, with firm yet soft tannins. Fine notes of forest fruits round off the palate. The finish is long and balanced.
