How this wine tastes
Resilience: the name already says a lot about this range. On one hand, it refers to overcoming a crisis following a severe earthquake in the 1960s. On the other, it stands for the resilience of the vines. Autochthonous grape varieties such as Perricone, also known as Pignatello, are used for the DOC-classified single crus. The grapes are hand-harvested and processed quickly to respect the unique characteristics of these grapes and their territorial origin.
01/Colour
Clear dark red with strong violet highlights
02/Nose
A straightforward wine with ripe, fruity aromas of blackberries, cherries, plums as well as spicy, animal notes, tonka bean and herbs.
03/Palate
After a long start, noticeable sweetish aromas of chocolate, plums and blackberries emerge, combined with pronounced acidity and well-integrated tannins along with a restrained minerality.
