How this wine tastes
The name alone has something magical about it: Quinta da Taboadella. The winery is located in the Beira Alta region in the north of Portugal, in the municipality of Silvã de Cima. The name and the estate are said to date back to a villa of Roman origin. The first written records are confirmed around 1255. Irrefutable proof of the estate's ancient history, however, is a granite lagar, a fermentation vat hewn from a single rock – one of the oldest testimonies to winegrowing in the Daõ region.

On the nose, a fruit-forward, expressive bouquet with notes of spices, black fruits and liquorice.
02/Palate
On the palate very flavourful yet also silky and balanced. The fruit is enormously expressive without being sweet.
