How this spirit tastes
The Double Cask Gold is a single malt without an age statement, matured in first-fill and refill sherry casks made from American and European oak. In these it gains not only fruity but also spicy notes.
01/Nose
Scent of orange and lemon zest, a touch of vanilla and dark chocolate.
02/Palate
On the palate fruity notes of citrus fruits and apple compote merge with cinnamon, vanilla and ginger, while peppery oak resonates in the background. The long finish is slightly malty-sweet.
