Cuvée 3-5-8 Premium Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot - Salzl

01/Colour

Dark, almost black ruby garnet with violet reflections.

02/Nose

Very spicy on the nose, peppermint, after eight, rum pot fruit, vanilla liquorice, black tea, olives, dark berry compote with cherries, blackcurrants, blackberries, plums, nougat, walnut and herbal spice.

03/Palate

On the palate again plenty of ripe fruit, full-bodied, very fine roasted aromatics, coffee beans, creamy, cherry compote, juicy tannins, cloves, smoky-cured, orange zest, again black tea, plenty of dried fruit and blackcurrant. A truly great wine, beautifully soft, harmonious yet very dense and powerful with an almost endless finish, moreish with a great deal of potential.
