How this wine tastes
The wood for the barrels is selected according to the vintage and grape varieties. After tasting the wines, it is decided whether the staves will be sawn from Tronçais, Allier or Vosges oak. The barrels are made to the specifications of the Fraisse family. One of the secrets to producing this wine is that the barrels hold only 110 litres rather than the usual 225 litres.

On the nose, freshly picked black cherries, truffle, a hint of tree bark and mint are just some of the beguiling elements of this highly complex aroma.
03/Palate
On the palate, warm fruit harmonises with ideal acidity and polished tannins. Delicate notes alternate with great power and density. An almost endlessly lingering finish.
