What happens when 20 whisky experts from a total of 16 countries are given free choice and allowed to pick their favourite from among all the whiskies maturing at a traditional Dufftown distillery? The result is the Glenfiddich Project XX.
01/Colour
Deep gold.
02/Nose
On the nose, fruit notes, with a hint of apple blossom, summer fruits and ripe pears. Wonderfully balanced between oak, full-bodied, creamy vanilla, malty notes and a hint of liquorice, with fine spice.
03/Palate
Refined and balanced, with the sweetness of cotton candy and full-bodied, oaky vanilla. Strong sweetness at first, enriched with surprising notes of roasted almonds, cinnamon and a hint of firm tannin. Deliciously long finish with sweet oak notes.
