How this spirit tastes
Kavalan Single Malt – this bottling exemplifies the quality of Taiwanese whisky. It is matured in six different casks, including fresh and refill bourbon and sherry casks as well as various wine casks. This creates a multi-layered and complex whisky. The bottle design is reminiscent of Taipei 101, Taiwan's architectural pride and once the tallest building in the world.
01/Colour
Intense golden hue.
02/Nose
Elegant, floral and fruity on the nose with traces of honey and tropical fruits, vanilla, coconut and chocolate.
03/Palate
On the palate a hint of mango combined with spicy, oily complexity. The finish is strongly citrus-led.
