How this spirit tastes
The experimental Highland single malt is distilled every winter in limited quantities at the Tomatin Distillery and made from lightly peated Scottish barley, which gives it its characteristic hint of smoke. Cù Bòcan is also known for exploring innovative maturations and creating whiskies full of intrigue and surprises, and this latest creation is no exception.
01/Nose
Embers of a campfire on the nose, sweet molasses, old leather and dried fruits.
02/Palate
A rich interplay of banana milkshake, roasted Jamaican ginger cake, bonfire toffee, refreshing lemon curd and nuances of campfire embers and molasses on the palate. Long-lasting finish with warm smoke, sweet molasses and a hint of driftwood.
